All the browsers provide an option to change the default settings and options, but many of the advanced settings are hidden in each browser. Every browser has an option, from where you can always change the advanced settings that are not available in its default standard settings options window. These advanced settings are hidden for some reasons like security, stability etc. In this article we are going to tell you the steps to enable and change these advanced settings in mostly used browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera Web browser.
Enable and Change Advanced Settings in Mozilla Firefox :
To access advanced settings in Mozilla Firefox, select its address bar and type about:config . After pressing Enter, you will see a warning page. Do not go to the next step, if you don't know what you are going to do because this could harm your browser.
Click the I'll be careful, I promise! button and you will be promoted to the Advanced Settings page.
In this settings menu, you can change the value of each field as per your requirement.
Enable and Change Advanced Settings in Google Chrome :
To enable the Advanced Settings in Google Chrome, just type chrome://flags or about:flags into Chrome’s address bar and press Enter key.
As you will press Enter, you will be directly promoted to the Advanced Settings Page.

Enable and Change Advanced Settings in Internet Explorer :
Enabling Advanced Settings in Internet Explorer is little bit lengthy process. You will have to enable these settings from the Group Policy Editor. To open the Group Policy Editor, press the Windows key, and type gpedit.msc into the Start menu(Windows 7)/Start Screen(Windows 8) and press Enter.
Go to Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer. Here you can change the values as per your requirement.
Enable and Change Advanced Settings in Opera :
To enable the Advanced Settings in Opera Web Browser, just type opera:config into the address bar and press Enter key. You will be promoted to Opera's Preferences Editor page.
NOTE : These Advanced Settings are hidden due to some security reasons. Enabling or Changing these Settings may cause some serious problems. So, you should use these settings at your own risk.
